Organised by Synapxe, Singapore’s national HealthTech agency, the GenAIus Challenge 2024 is an innovation programme in public healthcare to leverage Generative AI (GenAI) to solve challenges and convert uses cases to real-life solutions that transform Singapore’s healthcare.

Public healthcare professionals who have an interest in solving real-world healthcare challenges with technology or have day-to-day challenges that they believe GenAI can help resolve, can participate in the GenAIus Challenge.

Through a proven innovation framework by industry tech leaders, teams who join the GenAIus Challenge will have the unique opportunity to tackle real-world challenges and bring their visionary solutions to life with Synapxe’s tech partners Amazon Web Services, Avanade/Microsoft and Google Cloud.

Registration has closed. Participants will soon embark on the Ideation Workshops hosted by our tech partners. Find out more about the GenAIus Challenge below.

The programme will commence in April and take approximately 12 to 16 weeks from the stages of ideation to the development of the minimum viable product (MVP).

Stage 1: Ideation workshop

The GenAIus Challenge will kick off with three separate full-day workshops that will be held in person. Each workshop will be hosted by one tech industry partner. Seats are limited, and teams that are selected for the Challenge will be assigned to a workshop on a first-come-first-serve basis. Upon successful registration, teams will be informed of the workshop details, agenda and their assigned tech partner.

Stage 2: Submission and selection

Teams will submit their proposed use cases for evaluation. Selected teams will be invited to advance to the next stage to design and develop their MVP.

Stage 3: Design and development of MVP

With the support of your assigned tech partner, your team will build and test the prototype for your GenAI use case.

Stage 4: MVP launch

High-potential MVPs may lead to eventual deployment in the public healthcare ecosystem.
